I design shows, experiences, and installations for heritage spaces, arts organisations, public space projects, and commercial clients. My clients come to me to bring their spaces alive as immersive and visually arresting environments, with an attention to detail in terms of scenography, costume design, and lighting.
When theming productions, I am able to take advantage of my artistic background and practice to enables me to create concepts to engage with a wide variety of audiences. This stems from my training in the performing arts; as a contemporary circus performer (Circomedia, UK), and in dance and physical theatre (LISPA, UK). I also worked extensively as a performer before progressing to show design.
I particularly enjoy working with light and projection-based installations. My special interest in creative technologies followed an artist residency at the Pervasive Media Studio (Bristol, UK). My inspiration comes from a wide variety of sources, but especially architecture and film. Cinematic works with a distinctive production design, such as those by Fellini, Greenaway, Tarkovsky, and Singh, are of particular interest to me. The architecture of my home city of Berlin, and everyday life in the city, is also a great source of inspiration.
